Lisa Kuntz, DNP, CRNP, RNFA

Lisa has been a Nurse Practitioner at Alabama Weight Loss Surgery for over 20 years, assisting in the operating room. She is board-certified as both a Women’s Health and Family Nurse Practitioner. Lisa’s clinical interest is in weight loss maintenance. She recently completed her Doctorate, and her DNP project was based on weight loss maintenance in weight loss surgery patients. She brings an enhanced level of comprehensive care to the team, from patient education to assisting in surgery to postoperative and outpatient management. Several years ago, the Moffett & Sanders School of Nursing at Samford University recognized her outstanding care and dedication to patients with the Courage to Care Award.

Lisa is married and has two grown daughters, two sons-in-law, and one grandchild. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
